1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ILOX ("the service"), including the website, product monitors, and notification channels such as Discord and Telegram. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
ILOX monitors publicly available product listings — such as GPUs and consoles — across third-party shops and regions, and notifies users about changes in availability and price. The service is provided free of charge.
3. No affiliation, no warranty of accuracy
ILOX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of the shops, manufacturers, or brands whose listings it monitors. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
Availability and price data is collected from third-party websites and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect at any time. Always verify price and availability directly with the respective shop before making a purchase.
4. Acceptable use
When using the service, you agree not to:
- access the service through automated means (scraping, bots, bulk requests) other than the interfaces we intentionally provide;
- interfere with or disrupt the service, its infrastructure, or other users' use of it;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its underlying systems;
- resell, repackage, or commercially redistribute data or notifications provided by the service without permission;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to block or restrict access for users who violate these rules.
5. Notifications
Notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis via the website, Discord, and Telegram. We do not guarantee that any notification will be delivered, be delivered on time, or be accurate. Delivery also depends on third-party platforms (Discord, Telegram) whose availability is outside our control.
6. Third-party services and links
The service contains links to third-party websites and services (shops, Discord, Telegram, Ko-fi). We have no control over their content, terms, or privacy practices and accept no responsibility for them. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.
Some links to shops may be affiliate links. If you make a purchase through such a link, we may receive a commission from the shop. This does not change the price you pay, and it has no influence on which products are monitored or how availability and price data is reported.
7. Donations
Donations (e.g. via Ko-fi) are voluntary, are not payment for any service or feature, and are non-refundable. Donating does not create any entitlement to service levels, features, or support.
8. Intellectual property
The service's own content, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where a component is explicitly published under an open-source license, you may not copy, modify, or distribute parts of the service without prior permission. Third-party trademarks and product images remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Availability and changes to the service
The service is provided free of charge, and we make no commitment to uptime, availability, or continued operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service (in whole or in part, including individual monitors, regions, or notification channels) at any time without notice.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are liable without limitation only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. Any further liability — in particular for missed purchase opportunities, financial losses resulting from incorrect availability or price data, or the unavailability of the service or its notifications — is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when the service changes or legal requirements make it necessary. The current version is always available on this page, together with its "last updated" date. If you continue to use the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you habitually reside remain unaffected.
